Help us maintain the webcams!

Help us maintain the webcams Webcams have become an important tool for anglers and other river users, particularly those travelling from afar. By giving up to the minute information on water height and clarity, it is much easier to judge whether a trip is going to be worthwhile, and what tactics might be best employed when you get there. Webcams help cut down on wasted journeys, saving you time, motoring expenses and reducing your carbon footprint.

In addition to these webcams, the Environment Agency also provide river level information for the Wye and Usk catchments.

The costs of installing our cameras and gauges have been met by funders and/or by donations from generous anglers and riparian owners. Several of them have also been installed in partnership with the Environment Agency. However carefully we select a site, cameras and gauges occasionally experience problems. More often than not the Foundation has to find extra resources to meet these maintenance costs. If you are an angler or other river-user who finds these cameras of use why not help ensure they continue to operate in the long-term? By donating something towards these costs, you also show our potential funders how important these cameras are. Any amount you can give would be very gratefully received.

Alternatively, if you own a business and would like to sponsor a webcam, please contact us. We have had over 80,000 hits in a single day when it rains!

Many thanks for your support.
